6 nights (7-13 July)
Full Board (tournament cafeteria)
Staying in a school is a different experience that allows you to meet other teams while fostering mutual respect and coexistence. The schools are located in San Sebastian and other towns in the province of Gipuzkoa, at a maximum distance of 30 km. Some schools can accommodate only a few teams, while others can accommodate more than 20. Most have an outdoor playground and, some, have outdoor sports facilities. Showers and toilets are shared by all teams, with daily cleaning. Showers are usually basic and some have private showers, although this is rare.
Each team will be housed in a classroom, where chairs and tables will be removed or stored in a small space. Participants should bring their own sleeping materials, such as sleeping mats or bags. It is recommended that, if inflatable mattresses are brought, they should be a maximum of 75 cm wide for safety and space reasons.
To ensure an organized and safe stay, each school will have a STAFF person from the Organization: the School Host. The room should not be left unattended, make sure that windows and doors are closed when leaving. It is not recommended to leave valuables in the room.
The accommodation package includes a full board from dinner on July 7 to breakfast on July 13. Breakfasts will be served at the accommodation, while lunches and dinners will be offered at the tournament canteen, located at the Anoeta Sports City, near the Fan Zone. The canteen menu will be similar to a school menu. For lunch, there will be a varied salad, first course, second course, and dessert, as well as different types of bread and mineral water. For dinner, there will be a first course, a second course, and dessert, as well as bread and mineral water. The menu for the whole week will be sent to the registered teams in June.
The price also includes the Donosti Cup service package: Welcome Pack per person, minimum of 4 matches per team, field rental and refereeing, injury insurance, health assistance on the fields, online results, free access to the Opening Ceremony, Finals, and Donosti Cup Party, two invitations per club to the coaches' match and Closing Gala, “Donosti Super Card” with discounts on tourist attractions, assistant guide via WhatsApp and telephone during the tournament, booking management, organization expenses and VAT.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many coaches can stay at the school?
A minimum of 2 responsible adults is required and a maximum of 4 coaches per team is allowed.
I want a specific school, is this possible?
We do our best to accommodate requests. However, some schools are more popular, mainly those located in the city center, which makes it difficult to fulfill all requests.
When do I know which school I am staying at?
The name of the school assigned to each group will be communicated during March after payment of the housing deposit.
Is there a deposit to pay?
Yes, teams staying in a school must pay a deposit of 20 euros per person before the start of the tournament. This deposit will be returned within 30 days, once it has been verified that no infraction has been committed or damage has been caused.
What happens if we need to stay an extra night?
We can arrange additional accommodation for a maximum of two days before or after the event. During these extra nights, meals are not included; each team must arrange and pay for them.
What is the difference between staying in San Sebastian and staying outside the city?
Staying in San Sebastian has the advantage of being close to the “Fan Zone”, La Concha Beach, or the Old Town, but the commute to the fields can be longer. Staying in a town outside of San Sebastian offers, above all, proximity to the fields and a quieter atmosphere.
Are there special meal options?
Yes, we can cater to special dietary needs (allergies, specific diets, halal, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) as long as they are requested before June 1st.
What means of transportation do we use to get to the camps?
Some camps are not accessible by public transportation. Therefore, we recommend the use of your own transportation, such as buses or vans.
