Over 100 U.S. teams registered for the Donosti Cup 2025
With 107 teams already confirmed, the United States consolidates its position as the foreign country with the largest representation in the Donosti Cup 2025.
So far, 107 U.S. teams have already confirmed their participation in the Donosti Cup 2025, consolidating the growing presence of the American country in the tournament. In 2024, 110 teams were participating, which makes it likely that this edition will surpass that figure and reach a new record.
The registered teams represent 56 clubs from different states, with a strong presence of teams from California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New York, Oregon, Texas, and Wisconsin. While some clubs are making their debut in the tournament, many others are long-time veterans. Among the most frequent participants are Wisconsin International, with 17 participations, GYS USA and TEAM ISL with 7, San Ramon FC with 5, and a group of clubs that will be competing for the fourth time, such as Encinitas Express, Belmont United, Boca OC, Burlingame SC, FC New England, San Francisco Glens, Strikers and United PDX.
With this impressive participation, the United States ranks the second-highest number of teams registered, behind only Spain. Neighboring countries such as France and Portugal have never reached 100 teams in a single edition, highlighting the impact of the Donosti Cup in the United States.
