Over 450 teams from 20 countries register for the Donosti Cup 2024!
It is the first time in the history of the tournament that this figure has been reached in the month of January
With 460 teams already registered, the anticipation of participants to secure their place in the competition is more evident than ever. This fact stands out when compared to previous editions, where this figure was reached by March in the last edition and by April in the 2022 edition, revealing a growing organization and enthusiasm among the teams.
At least 20 countries will be represented in the competition, with a large number of foreign teams taking part. The United States tops the list with 102 teams registered, closely followed by France with 35 and Mexico with 13. The other countries that will take part in the 32nd edition of the tournament are Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, Denmark, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Palestine, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sahara and Switzerland.
At the national level, the response has been equally impressive, with more than 250 teams already registered. Teams from 10 different Autonomous Communities (CCAA) are confirmed, with Catalonia and the Community of Madrid being the most numerous. The top 5 are completed by Huesca, the Valencian Community, and Galicia, demonstrating the geographical diversity of the participants.
In terms of the age of the participants, the most numerous female categories are G14, G17, and G12, while in the male branch the B12, B14, and B16 stand out.
With more than five months to go, the expectation continues to grow, and the Donosti Cup is preparing to write a new chapter in its history, uniting teams and players from all over the world in an exciting and diverse competition.
