A magical night in a Champions Stadium
Last night we could live the Opening Ceremony of the Donosti Cup in the Reale Arena, a day to remember for everyone. The different colours, the music, the dances and the illusion of all the participants made yesterday's ceremony an unforgettable memory.
As it is already a tradition in the Donosti Cup, on the first day of the tournament we had the Opening Ceremony, a real show where all the clubs had the opportunity to parade in front of 20.180 people, a record number. With the help of Real Sociedad, all participants and spectators were able to enjoy a beautiful night under the stars of a Champions Stadium.
The first teams to parade were the foreign teams, then the national teams, and finally the local teams. All of them were able to take to the small stage in front of the tunnel. In between the parades, we were able to enjoy several performances. To begin with, before the parades we had a choreography of rhythmic gymnastics. After the parade of the foreign teams and before the national teams, the Bamboo Dance School Academy dazzled us all with their performance. Later it was the turn of the "Zuhaizti Ikastola" dance group, and after the parade of the Basque teams, the soloist performance of the Easo Choir starring Lucas Arconada, grandson of the legendary Luis Arconada. Finally, we witnessed a final "show" and an incredible fire and light show, which officially inaugurated the 31st edition of the Donosti Cup.
The faces of all the players who entered the field reflected illusion, a face of astonishment and happiness that they will never forget in their entire lives. All this accompanied by music and an impressive set of lights, made last night a beautiful day. The atmosphere and the setting were unbeatable, without a doubt, a magical night.
