Chile will be represented by two clubs in the Donosti Cup 2025
AF Austral returns with experience and AF Valdivia FB debuts with ambition in the 33rd edition of the tournament.
The Donosti Cup 2025 will once again feature the passion and talent of Chilean soccer. In this edition, two clubs with different histories but the same goal will represent the South American country: AF Austral, which returns after several participations, and AF Valdivia FB, which will debut eager to make its mark in the competition.
AF Austral, based in Puerto Mont, is an old acquaintance of the tournament. The team has competed in three editions (2019, 2021 and 2022) and achieved a special milestone in 2020, winning the Virtual Donosti Cup, the online tournament organized during the pandemic. Now, they return to San Sebastian with the illusion intact and the firm purpose of continuing to write their history in the competition.
On the other hand, AF Valdivia FB, coming from the city of Valdivia, will debut in the Donosti Cup in the U14 category. This club from the Los Ríos Region faces its first international experience with the motivation of representing Chile and competing against teams from all over the world.
Both teams will travel more than 10,000 kilometers to live a unique experience in the 33rd edition of the Donosti Cup. And with registrations still open, it is not ruled out that more Chilean teams will join the challenge.
