Entrenofutbol Talent Camp will debut at the 2022 Donosti Cup!
An initiative that seeks to recover the 'lost talent' and give a new opportunity to those boys who have not yet managed to make the leap to professional soccer.
With Entrenofutbol Talent Camp a new opportunity has been born for those talents who have been left without that chance to shine in professional soccer. A showcase for the youngest players who will be able to recover their dream of reaching the highest level of world soccer by participating in an innovative two-week High Performance program. The first part of the program will take place in Lekunberri, a small town located in the north of Navarra, in the middle of nature, in the foothills of the Aralar mountain range. The second part will take place in San Sebastian where two teams formed by the young people participating in the program will take part for the first time in the "Donosti Cup" International Soccer Tournament.
"It is not a free enrollment campus, we do not have an economic motive and we want to help the kids who want to reach professional soccer, but we are selective", comments Gorka Etxeberria, one of the promoters of Entrenofutbol Talent Camp. "We want quality, not quantity. We all know people who made it and in their youth team there were three better players than them. We want to find those who didn't make it. This doesn't belong to any club and we won't enter into soccer player properties, we are not anyone's representatives," he adds.
The academy does not guarantee any professional opportunity to the participants, but prepares them in a comprehensive way through a demanding 2-week program, so that, when they get their chance, they can give their best version and make the most of it. However, Entrenofutbol Academy will invite different clubs to the campus so that they can follow the evolution of the participants and will make it easier for players and clubs to establish contacts.
From the Donosti Cup we want to thank Entrenofutbol for having chosen our tournament and we give them a warm welcome to the 30th anniversary.
