Irune Dorado makes her debut with Real Madrid and makes history in Liga F

The Donosti Cup continues to be the stage where future stars are born. Irune Dorado Alosete, who participated in the 2021 edition with PA Team Academy at just 13 years old, has made the big leap into professional football with her debut in Liga F with Real Madrid. The young midfielder, who at just 16 years old is already considered one of the great promises of Spanish football, made her debut with the first team in the 5-0 victory against Espanyol.

Last Friday was an unforgettable day for Irune. After a regular day, including a philosophy exam, the Madrid-born player received a call from Alberto Toril to be part of the first-team squad. In the 68th minute, with the score already in favor of the Whites, Dorado stepped onto the field of Alfredo Di Stefano stadium, becoming the youngest player to debut with Real Madrid in Liga F.

Her progress in Real Madrid's academy has been meteoric. After training at Atlético de Madrid between 2017 and 2021, following her participation in the Donosti Cup in 2021, she joined La Fábrica, where she stood out in the cadet, youth, and, more recently, the reserve team. A fan of Rodri Hernández, her vision of the game and maturity on the field have made her a player to watch in the world of women’s football.

PA Team Academy, the club with which she played in the Donosti Cup in 2021 and which will participate for the ninth time in this year’s tournament, celebrates the success of their former player, who follows in the footsteps of many young talents who have passed through the tournament before reaching the elite.
