The 2022 Donosti Cup will be able to count on four more fields that have just been remodeled
In the last 2 years, twelve fields in Gipuzkoa have been equipped with the latest generation of artificial grass.
All tournaments like to have the best possible facilities. That is why it is great news that in the last few months four fields, which usually host the Donosti Cup, have renewed their turf.
Two of them are emblematic fields of the tournament since they hosted matches of the 1st edition and since then, they have been special venues of the Donosti Cup. We are referring specifically to the fields of Matigoxotegi, in San Sebastian, and Beraun in Renteria. The other two are also part of the history of the tournament as they have been hosting the Donosti Cup for more than twenty years. They are the fields of César Benito, also in the capital of Gipuzkoa, and Stádium Gal in Irún.
These four fields join six others that have also been recently remodeled: Martutene (San Sebastian), Fandería (Rentería), Hondartza (Fuenterrabía), Ugalde-Ventas (Irún), Mendibel (Orio), and Asti (Zarauz).
The technical level of the teams is getting better and better and without a doubt, being able to play their matches on good artificial grass fields will allow us to enjoy the best football.
