The Dallas Texans International Girls Cup, promoted in San Sebastian
Responsible for the American agency "Premier International Tours", attended the Donosti Cup 2023
This summer we had the honor to receive Loek Van Zijl, founder and CEO of "Premier International Tours", and an important part of his staff at the Donosti Cup.
This agency, in addition to promoting tournaments such as the Donosti Cup and organizing numerous tours around Europe, organizes one of the most important women's tournaments in the United States: the "Dallas Texans International Girls Cup".
The tournament is held in Texas, and the next edition will take place between March 27 and 31, 2024. As Loek informed us, they are expecting more than 200 teams of different nationalities in 2024.
In total, they have 11 different categories. Seven of them play at F-11: U19, U16, U15, U14, U13 and U12. Two play at F-9: U11 and U10. And two others play at F7: U9 and U8.
As Loek himself explained to us, most of the teams are staying with families, although there are also hostels and hotels for those teams that prefer to use this type of accommodation.
The tournament has a full program of activities in which the Opening Ceremony, held at the Texas Trust CU Theater, stands out.
