First day of finals at the Reale Arena completed

The Añorga KKE - SoCal Select (USA), in the G25 category, opened the Donosti Cup finals in a Reale Arena full of fans. Many Americans were also present in the stands. The match started with a first quarter of an hour where the Americans were leading by 1-2. However, Añorga would not give up and in the final stages of the match would score the final 2-2 that would send to penalties. In the shootout, Añorga's goalkeeper, Nora Matalobos, saved two key penalties to give the victory to her teammates. In this way, Añorga KKE G25, after two lost finals, got rid of the thorn in their side and lifted the champions trophy.

After the shootout, we saw a very disputed match between Top Tec Academy and Olympia Las Rozas in the G-19 category. There were no chances and mutual respect reigned at the Reale Arena. However, in the 35th minute, the Madrid team took the lead, in a one-on-one that ended with a lob to the Catalan goalkeeper. The match was very close for the Madrid girls and after the end of the regulation time, the referee decreed the end of the match and the Olympia Las Rozas girls were proclaimed champions of the Donosti Cup.

Top Tec Academy had to live again another final. This time the "B" team of the G17 faced Sporting Club de Portugal. After the first quarter of an hour, the match went crazy. First, the Catalans opened the scoring in a poisoned cross that slipped into the goal. Two minutes after the Portuguese conceded, in the blink of an eye, Sporting Club scored from a free kick inside the box. In the second half, the Top Tec players tried hard and after several failures, the Catalans scored two goals to almost seal the match. The Portuguese team would close the gap, but it would not be enough to force the penalty shootout. Top Tec Academy would manage, this time, to win the Donosti Cup.

At 18:30 Antiguoko and Levante Las Planas faced each other. Both teams fought to try to lift the trophy in the G14 category. The match could not start in a better way for the locals who scored the 1-0 in the third minute of the match. The Antiguotarras started the match very well, but little by little the Catalans recovered their sensations. However, most of the chances would fall to the sky-blue team that, despite not making the most of their chances, would take the trophy for champions of the Donosti Cup.

The last match was played by only one club, the CSF Team. Both "A" and "B" qualified for the final, which was played at the Reale Arena. It was a great party, in which the "A" team won 3-0, beating their rivals. In spite of being enemies on the field, they showed such a great companionship and respect that both groups celebrated the championship and the runner-up position. They showed an image of unity and respect.
