The Donosti Cup 2024 closes registrations with a new participation record!
900 teams will take part in the most international edition of the tournament
The Donosti Cup marks a historic milestone in its 32nd edition, with a record 900 teams registered and the representation of 27 different countries. Among the novelties, South Korea, Oman and Lithuania will be making their debut in the tournament, raising the total number of countries that have participated since the first edition to 83. The rest of the representative countries are Andorra, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Spain, United States, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Palestine, Portugal, United Kingdom, Western Sahara, Sweden and Switzerland.
In terms of categories, the most requested male category is B12 with 124 teams, followed by B14 and B13 with 116 and 84 teams respectively. However, in the female category, the most requested category was G14 with 54 teams, followed by G17 and G12 with 48 and 40 teams respectively.
The Donosti Authentics Cup, in its fourth edition, adds excitement to the event with the participation of 8 teams from Mexico, Ireland, France, Catalonia and the Basque Country.
Registrations have been closed after reaching the quota of 900 teams established by the organization. This figure is determined by the accommodation capacity and the number of pitches. In case of any cancellations in the next few days, the teams on the waiting list will be contacted.
