Bilal, the hairdresser sponsor of a team of the Donosti Cup

Bilal's barber shop has sponsored and paid the complete inscription to the players and staff of the Hernani B-16 category. Many hernaniarras often go to Bilal Barbershop to get their hair cut, being so famous that he even works with Real Sociedad players. He has cut the hair of players like Januzaj, Remiro, Merino, Tierney or Ander Barrenetxea.

Bilal told us that it all stemmed from a conversation with Hernani players. "All the kids come to get cut and since we like soccer I came up with the idea of sponsoring them in the Donosti Cup," Bilal said. He also states that the players were very excited when the idea was proposed to them and that the parents, who also have a great relationship, feel totally grateful to him.

He has even given the players and staff some T-shirts customized by him, so that they can compete in the tournament and dress in the best possible way. "I had the jerseys designed by us made and the kids loved it. Also for the staff of our team."

"Hernani is a town to which I am very attached and little by little I have become familiar with it thanks to my work. When they talk to us about soccer, we get deeply involved because we love soccer and we give a lot of motivation to the kids," confessed the barber.

This type of initiative, where kindness and nice gestures shine, is becoming more difficult to see in these times. Gestures like Bilal's make the Donosti Cup a different kind of tournament.
