The Final Phase kicks off today!
On this Friday, the Champions League and Europa League matches kick off, i.e. the play-offs. Today also sees the first finals, which will take place at the Reale Arena.
Along with the start of the Sanfermines, the matches corresponding to the Final Phase also kick off, which, as you know, is divided into two competitions: Champions League and Europa League. The first two in each group enter the Champions League, while the third and fourth classified will go to the Europa League.
All teams have played at least three matches in the group stage, where they have been able to improve and change different tactical aspects in order to arrive in the best possible shape for the crucial matches. Now, having a bad game means packing up and going home, so it is more important than ever to keep a cool head and concentration. Each team already knows what its aspirations are, and now it's time to prove it on the pitch, where, as always, the ball will dictate the verdict.
In addition, and as a new feature of this edition, the first Champions League finals kick off today, corresponding to the B25 and G25 categories (18:00 and 19:30). On Saturday and Sunday the rest of the finals will be played, which will decide who will be the new champions of the Donosti Cup.
