We introduce you to the All Star Team of the Donosti Cup 2023!
Portuguese players predominate in the women's category, while in the men's category, Catalan players are in the majority.
In the last edition of the Donosti Cup, held with great success, we have witnessed great performances that have shaped the All Star Team of the tournament, both in the men's and women's categories. As in each edition, the All-Star is usually made up of players who play in the finals of the tournament.
All Star Female Team
Goalkeeper:
- Zoe González (CE Sabadell, G12). Despite the defeat in the final, Zoe stood out with brilliant interventions under the three posts.
Defenders:
- Teresa Cortesão (SL Benfica, G10). "Teresinha", with an impeccable tournament, scored a great goal in the final.
- Maria Pimentel (SL Benfica, G10). Captain of Benfica, MVP of the final and leader in the defense.
- Erica Cancelinha (Sporting Clube Portugal, G17). MVP of the final, provided great defensive solidity.
- Maria Espadinha (Sporting Clube Portugal, G17). Captain and lateral with personality, initiated the play of the goal that gave the championship to her team.
Midfielders:
- Erica Parkinson (SL Benfica, G14). International with the England youth teams, and current player of Valadares Gaia, she made her mark with SL Benfica. Her championship won her the MVP.

- Adriana Cuqurella (Madrid CFF, G12). She dominated the midfield in the G12 category, with some outstanding performances.
- Matilde Matos (SL Benfica, G14). Very skilled and promising player who showed her potential in midfield.
Forwards:
- Andrea Fernández (Madrid CFF, G12). Left-footed player with great shooting and handling with both legs.
- Sara Prat (Top Tec, G19). Pure striker who left her mark in the final, scoring the first goal of the game.
- Africa González (Fontsanta Fatjó, G19). Skilful winger who caused havoc to her opponents on the right flank.
All Star Male Team
Goalkeeper:
- Lucas Gomez (PA Team, B11). With impressive interventions, he stood out as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Defenders:
- Walit El (CSF Team, B16). A great assist and a great goal in the final earned him the MVP award in his category.
- Sergio Valverde (Manchester Academy, B12). Defensive wall that stood out in every game of the tournament.
- Sean Thomas Corbett (Match International, B13). Brought great solidity to the U.S. team's backline.
Midfielders:
- Hiro Rabanal (Domus Barcelona Social, B9). High-level midfielder who led his team to victory against a great Brain.
- Kevin Dragomir (Brain Football, B11). Midfielder of great technique and quality.
- Adam Qaroual (Brain Football, B11). Skilful playmaker who made the difference in every game of the tournament.
- Aran Aparicio (United 13).Skilful left-footed player with dominance of both legs.
Forwards:
- Peter Joel (Athletic Sant Just, B19). Powerful and unbalanced player. Entered the final in the second half, and revolutionized the game.
- Mamadou Keita (BR Team, B12). Undoubtedly one of the best strikers of the tournament. In the finals alone, he scored 11 goals.
- Destiny Kosiso (Brain Football, B9). Captain and leader of his team, he played a great tournament and had a great performance in the final.
